High Iron Night IINII
For the next 500 runs, I'll be dropping Resistance Fighter Night Thrasher into the mix, surrounded by fused Ultimate Fist Iron Fist cards. After each 100 I'll rotate him through the other positions until I'm done. Right now he's in the card 1, or center card position. Hence: I(ron Fist)IN(ight Thrasher)II.
Degrades Vs. Boosts: My Analysis
Ok, so, it's widely (and finally) agreed and seen that degrades are generally stronger than boosts. However, I think it's important to keep in mind that this is true by degrees. Since the only practical degrades are general ones, they start off at a lower percentage than the most common alignment devoted boosts. So, if you compare a sk.1 to a sk.1 boost to a degrade, the boost is stronger. It's that simple. Whether we're comparing UR+ cards, or L+ cards, this is true, so it's important to remember that degrade cards really shine when you skill them up. While this may be true generally and obviously of any and all cards, it's especially true of the degrades. At low percentages, a degrade will only be stronger than a boost of the same percen…
Relatively Low: Analysis
Ok, now that there are a pretty decent number of recorded battles at the Relatively Low tier of proc rates, it's time to look at what they're saying collectively.
At this point it might as well be confirmed fact that not only is your center card (Card 1) much more likely to proc than any of the other cards, but it should also be noted that if it doesn't, your odds of getting a three proc seem to be far less, and for that matter, if the center card doesn't proc first, it won't proc at all. In over 600 battles, this has been true.
Now, quick rundown of some things regarding the Skilled Marksman Hawkeye deck.
I'll be regularly coming back to add the other deck runs, and other information if anyone has suggestions on what else to include.
So fa…
Very Low Ho-Ho Hulk
Time to do this! I imagine 100 fights of virtually no three procs or even two procs will be more than enough to basically just say...to Hades with this usage tier.
For the test I'll be using one Ho Ho Ho Spider-Man in the center and then four Incredible Rage Hulk cards around it. Probably not worth mentioning but card 3 is technically the only UR+ of them, and it is skill 2.
Where are my Packs!?
Cheers folks.
I dont know if all of you got the same issue like me but... this sucks.
We're playing our favourite game - Marvel WoH - and trying to get the best deck possible without spending money at all. We feel confident about our deck and we're happy to receive rewards for good rankings and staying in a good alliance. But then you take a look at left.... at right...yur Tm's and Ally m8s and what do see???
Lot better cards and after asking they swear not spended one penny in mobage. But is this possible. Is it possible to earn a 5 Leg card deck just by using trading possibilites and never had spended any penny? I think NO.
I spended some money and i'm at least plesed with my cards - for the moment.

Relatively Low Hawkeye
So, here it is. Hopefully this will be the very last run for the Relatively Low tier of procs and we can examine the numbers. For the record, I'm using 5 unboosted Skilled Marksman Hawkeye in this deck.
Am I the only one?
I personally enjoy the survival trials reward system... just not the rate at which you get shards. I think maybe if it was a group/team based event, and everyone had a pool of cards to share from, it would receive a better reception. Example; 5 Team Members/Alliance Members form a group, and at the end of the event they would all receive a shard award amount based on their collective rank, as well as a 'card' reward for their individual ranking.
How many players actually can afford to have 30 cards sitting around for 3 events? Not too many I imagine...
Next issue I noticed... I got to about 2.5k ranking and WHAM. Every opponent had a Legendary Defense... Sure... I can take one or two with scrapper, but 10? In a row? Now we have to have 30 'D…

Card Value Formula
We've all been talking about it endlessly. I'm not putting this out there as a guide, because it can't be, but I'm putting this down mostly so I have it in a place other than a document on my laptop since it's a piece of Skaar that dies on me constantly, so, as usual, I'm using my blog-space as a sort of Cloud storage. AND I figured I could have people who have a similar interest in (semi)solidifying card values with actual numbers could give ideas as well. This is mostly for fun though, obviously, because nobody would ever implement such a thing, or follow it.
The obvious problems with what I've had written up so far (months ago) is that it will undervalue a lot of cards according to a lot of people...and possibly overvalue some other car…
All Card Ranking
Ok, here is my first attempt at trying to rank cards. This is not intended as a price guide as there are other factors that are taken into account (the worst factor is the scarcity of the card).
The point is to give players an idea where cards rank compare to other cards, and when new cards come out, whether it is worth pursueing them.
As noted, this is my first attempt, and there are several things I would like to add (but don't expect me to do it quickly)
Here are some notes:
- MAJOR: The list is based on the cards Attack, not Defense. You will see at the bottom of the list are some good UR cards, but because the are defense cards, tehn are near the bottom.
- Each card is rank on Attack, Ability Strength, Ability Affect, Proc Rate, and Attack Wa…
Please provide advice on Trade Offer
Would it be a good idea to trade great responsibilty spiderman SSR, (2) SR Worthy Sif, SR Anti-Registration Steve Rogers, R Bright-Eyed Squirrel Girl & 2 Level up ISO-8 for UR Enraged Father Red Hulk? I would be giving up the Red Hulk. I have the SSR Great Responsibility Spiderman for fusion.
Lesson Learned Tony Stark trade
So, I pulled the trigger on a trade for my M/M SR [Lesson Learned] Tony Stark. I got 2 SR [Vibranium Shield] Captain Americas. I already have a M/M [VS] CA+ and another {VS] CA in my present list. Looks like I'm on my way to a poor man's Cap Wall defense.
It's fun to make trades sometimes. I just hope I can keep making trades that earn long term gain.
Jay's Junk Yard
This is going to be a constant work in progress. I have 4 accounts (currently only gone through one of them), so I may miss something or forget to update something but I will try to keep it as updated as possible. All fused cards are properly done. Base cards may/may not be boosted/mastered or partially done. If you are wondering, ask and I'll let you know. I was going to combine the base and fused forms into the same tab (i.e. UR and UR+) but have since decided to make them separate tabs. I'll also include the skill level for any cards that are fused (leaving that column off the base tabs). I'm not adding any PP values, as that changes so much. I also have (or will shortly) a page with cards that I'm looking for, specifically to catalog. …

Here is a list of everything that I have. Some things I am using in my decks, so I may not be so quick to sell, but I will flag these.
- I am willing to sell my cards for cheap.
- I am willing to give a multicard discount (4+ cards)
- Skill 1-3 cards will be at or below what they are listed for on Sleepys Guide.
- Higher skill cards will have an additional fee, which will rise as the skill level goes up.
- Basically what I want is PP (don't we all).
- I will accept trades, but there are 2 conditions
- I am not willing to trade down (you give me 2 cards for 1 of mine), but I am willing to trade up.
- I will not be as generous as if you were giving me PP
- I also plan …

Boosters: Super Special Rare+
And here we have the final of the booster inventory blogs. The bigguns, the ones that really matter to people boosting up their UR+ and L+ cards' abilities...at least for the first few levels that is.
Boosters: Special Rare+
In order to keep the tables as small as possible, I'm making each segment of base and fused separate, so here is the list of boosters that were once Rares that I've already turned into SR+ cards. Probably will end up being a relatively short list compared to the others.
As these are the fused forms, I will include a third column for skill level as it may be good to know.
Boosters: Special Rare
As with the rares, here is where I will keep my inventory for SR boosters. The only difference may be in that I might include SR+ cards in this inventory, since when it comes to skill leveling, fusion states don't really matter. As such, just because they're somewhat different, I will add the Rarity column, and also a skill level column to accommodate those that are fused already and whatnot.
Boosters: Rare
Here is the start to my booster inventorying. This will be a list of all the Rare cards I've got that I've been holding onto basically forever, and figured it was finally time to account for all of them so I can help allies (or whoever) boost their card skills better. This will definitely be a work in progress for a while as I've got about 24 pages of stuff to go through and account for slowly.
I won't bother with alignment separation as it's irrelevant for boosters really. As they're base cards, I also won't include skill level, so this will pretty much strictly be a card and quantity.
My Return Is Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm back! Well technically I've been back for about 2 weeks lol but I've been really busy and still am but decided to say that my return is here! - 1.2 Bruiser
- 1.3 Speed
Here's where I put cards with real value (SSR and up) that I have available for trade or sale. It's not going to be very big but hopefully somebody will find something they want and we can work something out. I'll also put sleepy's listed price in case it matters. I won't list level and mastery because to me it's irrelevant and doesn't actually affect value of a card. Skill only really matters for fused cards since it'll be rolled back to a fusion anyway, so I'll leave that segment blank on base cards as well. Like most people, I will discuss bulk discounts on anything.
Looking For
- 1 Forward
- 2 Tactics
- 3 Speed
- 4 Bruiser
A general wish list. Most will be for my own cataloging purposes and so I won't always be willing to trade or haggle much for the cards as they aren't necessary, merely desirable. Then others will be wishlist items for my actual decks, though at this point most of what I'm aiming for is a pipedream since they have ridiculous prices attached to them. I'll make notations on which, and I also have no qualms about borrowing and returning them. I've done it several times with several different people if it matters. Most base cards that say "To Fuse" I will also accept the fused version obviously to borrow or whatever since it'll cut out having to fuse the cards just to catalog anyway.
Commerce
Time for me to clean up my front page a little bit by moving the commerce section into some blogs. I'll be using this as a hub, of course, collecting what I have for trade or sale, and what I'm looking for. Neither of those blogs will separate things by alignment because I'm consolidating all the SR and below (yup, even below) cards into a booster inventory. It's not like anybody buys SR or under for any other reason lol. Plus it'll help me keep those in order to help get boosters together for my alliance...so that's probably less important to most people.

Combo: Gamma Brothers
Characters Required: A-Bomb, Hulk
+5% To DEF of all Bruisers.
So, at the very least, knowing which cards you need to fulfill this defense combo is extremely easy lol. There's only one A-Bomb at all, and of the Hulk cards, there's really only one that's got a defensive skill at all, which simultaneously could make it a hindrance to a high level defense deck due to his High proc rate being both a single and dual proc, but there's really only the other UR+ which has no boost and at the moment it would seem severely lower stats, and the other two with decent stats are both legendaries that are pretty freaking rare, so we're going to just go ahead and plug an [Enemy Inside] Hulk into the deck as well. So, that leaves three more slots for any br…
Combo: Great Brains
Required Characters: Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Mr. Fantastic
The obvious weak link here is Mr. Fantastic. He's not a horrible card though, with just under 10k attack he may be the weakest on the team possibly, but that's still respectable to me, and lets face it, it's just a matter of time before he gets a better version anyway. :P
Now, that's just a slightly weaker representation of my deck (due to skill levels) but it's pretty close. I don't mind not having another tac booster in Fantastic's place because I already have four cards that can do a 16% or better boost as is, and I tend to get them proccing anyway, so even though he doesn't have a direct boost, he does essentially kick in that extra 7k or so at the very end. Obviously, this may no…
C-c-c-c-combo Maker!!!
Anybody? Ok...so, this was something I kinda wanted to do for a while, though without knowing exactly how. I've been running a combo deck for some time now, and honestly, I really just in general like the aspect of special combos even if many of them aren't quite so practical as others. I'll focus on the ones that actually are useful and can help you to be more competitive. Sometimes it gives you a good starting point to build around, and sometimes it also just keeps some decks a little more fresh in my opinion, because I think wall decks are about the lamest thing anywhere and refuse to have more than 1 of the same card in either of my decks. :P
Since this will be a work in progress, it'll probably look butt ugly for a while. Sorry about t…
Ability Boosting (Why Ability Booms Are Valuable)
So, since it comes up all the time I figured it was time to get a blog together. I don't know why I'm the one doing this, analyzing things is OTHER people's job, not mine. XD Anyway, this will be about ability level boosting/skilling up your cards. It's not an easy topic, despite all the data that exists for review the methods employed to improve your cards are individually preferable and there's not much to discredit or prove why those methods are good or bad. Whatever works. I look at the best/most efficient method, as that which guarantees a level. It may seem to cost more because of the work and time involved in getting those higher percentages, but it should even out if not come under the same point as dozens of failed attempts with l…

Card 4 = Ability Level 3
Almost done with this deck, so I'm going to probably take a bit of time going back and doing roundups and include totals of different results.
Odins Decree card???
Does what benefit only those with the Ur cards... while all the other players get stomped... That is one of those guys who never took basic marketing moves... LOL...
How does a card's skill usage affect proc rate (part 2)
In this test, we look into how a invalid skill on your deck could affect over skill activation. When I say invalid skill I mean for example degrade Speed def when opposite deck does not have a speed card.
Deck 2 - this deck have 5 average cards, where card 3 is a degrade Speed def. Facing against a opposite with no speed card. In this case, card 3 will never proc, but what does this mean to other card and the over deck?
Average proc rate - 39.35%
Average proc rate (exclude card 3) - 49.19%
Compare with the base data on deck 0, card 1 still have relatively high proc rate.
Interestingly, we see a drop on proc rate, on card 2. From 54.84% on Deck 0 to 32.26% on Deck 2.
Whereas card 4 and 5 we see a slight increase.
This is a more important analysis…

Troll Lead Cards?...
As anyone who has played WoH for a while knows, lead cards can be quite... Misleading. A weak player may boast one SSR while a strong player may have an iso or a common as their lead card. I myself have my lead card for irony. I'm a tactics alignment guy with the username Captinmerica, so I thought it was a great idea to use Rule Britannia Captain Britain. From my experience, lead cards are usually more about style than substance. Am I right? Feel free to comment from personal experience.
Boosted Booster Recordings
OK. So, for anyone familiar with ZBerg's Boosting Research blog there's that little segment briefly covering when it's beneficial to use boosted booster cards. I wanted to take a look at that as long as I had some time on occasion. So, basically I'm just going to be recording how much what cards have given the other cards I've boosted using them. Hopefully, with enough of these taken down somebody can deconstruct the system and see if there's a clear formula for using a boosted booster per level it's boosted...lord...redundant sentences...XD
Anyway time to start I guess. Ultimate Boosts will be designated with a red cell.
How does a card's skill usage affect proc rate
Hope to figure out a relationship between different usage, for example Average vs High
Disclaimer - data on this blog should only be used for relative comparison, shall not be treat as final proc rate.
I have put together 2 desk:
Deck 0 - all average cards
This is used as the baseline.
'Deck '1 - all average cards except card #3 which is a high.
I have done 31 battle using each desk and some interesting trends appears:
1. Vast different on proc rate depending on the position of the card.
Table below shows the % of chance of each card's ability triggered in a battle.
Out of 30 battle, ability on Card1 triggered 25 times, then we see a decline from Card2 onwards.
Average proc rate = 45.81%
Compare the data with Desk 1 (table below), we can see the pro…
