Boost Recordings - Army of One Ronin
Unfortunately, while I had a full chart up with every level already done on here, I forgot to post it, and then my computer automatically updated itself after my browser crashed.
So, I'll still put down what I had recorded for the last few levels since I kept those screens, and luckily enough, this is one of the cards that's pretty linear so even just the last levels are enough of an indicator for the growth of this card
More Left+Center Trait Testing!
I put together another quick deck, and since I wanted to be able to test the first few days of war (when things are slower) I was able to get in a few...very few...possibly too few to really consider it good data, but oh well. I tried, and without costing too much to ATK to valor ratio too since the deck I created was able to divide pretty close to even with my max ATK. :D
Anyway, cards in question from left to right: Surf's Up Iceman (Very High Sk.1), Vengeful Soul X-23 (Very High Sk.10), Reptile Brain Lizard (Rel High Sk.1), Binary Ms. Marvel (Rel High Sk.1), Savage Avatar Shanna The She-Devil (Rel High Sk.10).
Sovereignty, Ability, Usage, and Max Stats
How would you rank the best card to use? For lower rarity cards, there is a good chance that most opponents will not have a defensive card save, but for UR+ and up it is very likely to go up against a SK 10. Wouldn't it be better to have a very high usage vs ability and max stats?
Left Trait Testing
In reality, this is also center trait testing, and maybe even a little bit of position testing as well lol. Here's the deck from left to right:

I'll just fill in either center or left card with green if either of them fires for a given battle.

Wishful Thinking
I feel as if I should understand Shinji's blog posts since they seem informative but it looks like a wall of numbers! Anyway's as far as wishful thinking goes.. I wish that whenever the servers go down before each new event we'd be given some time after the game is back up before starting the event.
La Fam Defense Lead: Round 2
Ok, new lineup, same cards:
On Patrol Spider-Man, Green Scar Hulk, Warrior King Black Bolt, On Patrol Spider-Man, Warrior King Black Bolt.
La Familia Defense Lead
And now for an unplanned mixed deck tracking. Our defense lead asked me about the positioning of his defense cards. After suggesting putting his average proc in center, the rest didn't really matter enough to worry about and I offered to hit him a few times to verify that. So, luckily he's got a mixed deck of course, and the cards in question are (and the order they're in from left to right):
On Patrol Spider-Man, Warrior King Black Bolt, Warrior King Black Bolt, Green Scar Hulk, On Patrol Spider-Man
For no other reason than that I'm testing the defense thankfully than my own attack deck, I settled with using my lowest AP card to get in as many tests as I can quicker. Not that it matters, but Sif will be sacrificing herself for the cause!

CT Reptile Brain Lizard
Round 2!
For this deck I'm using the following:
SR Reptile Brain Lizard Sk.1
Identity Crisis Spider-Man Sk.1
Hand Co-Founder Sasaki
R+ Fire Heart Puma Sk.4

These are all the center trait cards by Alignment taken from the wiki card list database.

CT Pillar Luke Cage
Ok, for this particular run of tests, I've created a 2 card bruiser deck using Pillar Luke Cage and Godhunter Beta Ray Bill in order to keep the PWR cost of the deck a nice clean tenth of my total ATK so that basically I can still maximize the number of attacks I can get in while testing, and not harm my valor gains for the war too drastically. So, I can think of no reason to not just keep this chart very VERY simple. I was originally just going to have a two row chart with a YES/NO counter essentially...but then, I might do a full 101 rows similar to my position tests...I don't know why. So we can see how many battles between each activation? I doubt we can gleam much from that information, but why not, right? Oh my...actually...I thought…
Very High Professor Cable
Here we go with the first run, (possibly the only run, who knows?) of the Very High usage rate.
In the deck we've got Wish Fulfillment Professor X and Askani-son Cable all at skill 1, but in the following order:
Cable+, Cable, Professor X+, Cable, Professor X

PROC suppression - opened sourced

^This is a link to a Google Doc Spreadsheet (Excel file) that contains a PROC simulator. While it can't be edited online, you may download it and do what you will with it.
Recommended usage:
- Download
- On the first sheet, you will see several grayed out boxed, these are for entering your card's PROCs 1-5
- Card 1 is center card
- This simulator can handle any size deck and is intended to show you the probability of a "3 proc" or 3 activations with any given deck, including suppression effects for decks size 4 or 5. It will also display the "displayed proc rate" so that if you want to compare the rate at which a wall of a card will activate, for example…
Equivalence - Comparing cards and decks
So last time we introduced what we termed equivalence, reducing all the information of a card or a deck to a single statistic (a number, usually a modification of the base stats) which represented not only the base stats BUT ALSO the relative merits of the abilities (including its USAGE and EFFECT). We noted that effect varied depending on size and configuration of deck, but we did not take the time to note then that this game may have been designed for a 3-card deck to begin with and we probably won’t get into that at this time. For DECK EQUIVALENCE we discussed combos in a limited fashion using simple cases. (We also talked about standardization, which just means setting a base for equivalence to something like 100, which is what they do w…
Equivalence - Stats, Usage, Ability, and more
The true genius of Pants1000's neglected insight is not only that it helps us see that it's ok to mix boosts and degrades, but that it gives us the framework for figuring out true equivalence.
But, "Hark!" I hear you cry, "What exactly is this 'equivalence' of which you equivocate?" -- I'm glad you asked. What I mean by "equivalence" is a process or conception that would allow one to compare, for example, the relative merits of a +100 increase in base stats with, say, the value of loosing a combo that gives 6% team boost instead of 5% or a host of factors such as:
- Base stats
- Combo usage
- Combo effect
- Ability usage (sometimes called PROC, but see my collected works)
- Ability effect
- and actually, I think that's the whole list, but still! -- hmmm, mayb…
Ability Skill Level Bonus
We've made some progress with ability testing (big thanks to DrPsyPhi for all their help) and I now have a mostly complete table for skill level boosts. This project is still a work in progress so any help is appreciated.
For each skill level you boost a card it's ability will increase by the percentage in the box that corresponds to that cards ability, unless you are boosting a card to level 10 in which case the effect will be doubled.
- *Percentages in parentheses are calculated.

Ability Effectiveness
- I noticed that the effectiveness section on the Ability page was missing some information so I've started testing cards for their ability percentages. I have added a Google Docs sheet so I can start working on skill level bonuses (thanks to Blynk nz for the template). Docs sheet is unlocked so feel free to contribute.
- Ability Skill Level Bonus page is now up.

Low Thunder God
Time for a set with the Low cards. The entire deck will be comprised of Thunder God Thor, though two will be fused while the other three are still base SSR cards. All are skill 1.
Once More Into the Breach - Revisting Proc Rates
So... my last treatise on this subject (http://marvel-war-of-heroes.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:DrPsyPhi/PROC_rates_--_Skipping_to_the_good_parts) had a few supositions that hadn't been tested (the skilled 10 high and the rel. high skill 1, among others). I took advantage of some recently acquired cards and ran a test of 100 battles against the same opponent (spars, actually) and have some revised numbers. Summary of results then some notes on testing below. I may do some additional testing; it has been suggested that rarity has an effect on proc rates, but I have not yet seen that evidence (opportunities for further research also below). For the sake of the discussion, see also: http://thetalkinggeek.com/procrates/

I totally forgot about this one! I actually sent them a little message on their Facebook page after having just been a little fed up with one thing or another. I will say that at the time I was under the impression their old suggestion box was still closed, as prior to this message, it actually had been (though for how long, I'm uncertain), so he totally ended up having me there...
I'd like to speak to somebody seriously for a second. Why was the suggestion box closed? Was it because you simply had no interest in listening, or responding, or changing? You were done pretending to care?
I ask, because I've known a lot of people quit recently.
I'll begin addressing the Marvel: War of Heroes game specifically from here out. You're driving players…

I had just finished maxing the levels of two Kingpin cards and then went to use some canisters to get the mastery done so I could fuse them and start recording their level progression after. They are nowhere to be seen. I can not assign them as the card to be boosted despite the fact that I can plainly see them in my mastery deck, just as the two raiders are that I had no problem boosting and using canisters on earlier. I can pick every card except those two, even now. The reply on this one is excellent, mostly because rather than look into the problem at all, they gave me a tutorial on how to boost...except the information in it is inaccurate.
To ensure that you are boosting correctly, please follow the instructions below:

I think when the question first came up was pretty early into the Survival Trial life...those baby years. Basically, everybody was saying they'd hit nothing but legend walls and really hard fights, so there was a rumor/theory with some that it only ever took a given player's top defense cards when you matched them regardless of whether or not they had already been matched to defend somebody else prior. This made me want to pose the question. I think I even managed to work in a question regarding if they ever worked out whatever they screwed up with the previous issue.
As stated in the Guide the Survival Event does not use any AP or DP. Also we confirmed that there were no issues with the Adaptors during the Proving Grounds event and they ar…

Many may remember when they had first introduced the defense battles in tournaments for an S.P.G. event, that the adaptor was broken and in those battles only, the defense decks were getting a fraction of what they were supposed to. After sending an inquiry to them telling them of the discrepancy, their reply was:
The adapter bonus will vary depending on your deck and other boosts activating during the battle as a result the boost may vary. The boost for your defense deck is going to be different from your attack deck boost.
Let me do this another way. The adaptors, assuming they are designed to give a 7% boost (after upgrading) across your defense deck in the same manner it does for the attack deck, are then malfunctioning in the instance I…
DE-FENCE dun dun DE-FENCE dun dun...
So, just for fun I figured I was going to do this little blog, really for my own satisfaction because I've always said I liked working on a decent defense deck even while the "doesn't matter"s were flying! And now I've really gotten a good look at just how much more work I need to make to my own defense since being made the d-lead for this war (don't be that impressed, most of the other Joes just didn't care lol), but also how awesome it is to feel like you're making a difference now and actually get SOME reward for it (though I do think they should give you successful defense combos or something too. Imagine how that might improve defense relevance!)
Anyway, not sure how to best put this. I didn't expect to have to sift through 53 pages of…
