I have a level 42 card that I want to boost. The next card should cost 5525 to boost it. I want to boost it with a lvl 12 iron man that is boosted to level 8. Its charging me 5980. I have gone through the rest of my cards to see if this is constant for boosted cards. It is. The unboosted cards are at 5525.

The money isn't an issue. I was just wondering if anyone has an explanation for this

Probably because the boosted booster will push your base card up 1 more level than the unboosted feeders. Then again, maybe some more research needs to be done using boosted boosters. Shinji, get on that ASAP. XD

...grrrrrrreat....XD

Lemme see what I can figure out...and start yet another blog about it. lol

Quick question Otter, but were all of your boosted booster cards the same levels, and all displaying the 5980 cost when used to boost, or are they all different levels but still share the same cost for use?

It could be if the card boosts it more than 1 level, that it will take that into account?

That would be pretty easy to find out. Take a level 1 card, and boost it with a strong card. The cost should be 75, but if its more then that might be the case.

Dang, spoke too soon...I guess I should've figured it wouldn't be that easy...I'm thinking the per level modifier probably depends on the level of the base card getting boosted too...GUAR!!!

Sure does. Base card level 1-9 will cost 25 silver for every level over 1 of the booster.

Base leve 10-19 is 35 silver.

Base 20-29 is 45, and so on. So, using this pattern, a level 42 would use the 65 silver modifier per level of the booster. Since he's using a level 8 booster, it's 65 times 7 equals 455, then add at to the base cost and you've got exactly what number he recorded.
