First, I want to say that I tried to post virtually this same message a minute ago and for some reason it's not showing up in the thread, so I'm re-posting. If my original post shows up later and makes this one seem redundant, I apologize.

Wow, thanks for the excellent, thoughtful response! :)

I actually am very interested in Quicksilver's adaptability to defense, since I am very weak there and always flame out early in the intercept only survival trials. Also, he'd help me in the alignment survival trials too, as Speed is BY FAR my worst alignment.

That being the case (short of Mobage taking your advice about an immediate - and much needed - restructure), I think I will go ahead and go with him, rather than waiting for Venom.

I know I could have mentioned about my interest in defense and speed cards in my original post, but I was looking for information about the cards, not my needs (which I already knew pretty well). Your post was just what the doctor ordered - THANKS!!

Relative merits of Beast Processor rewards

Hey guys, first time poster here, looking for some help.

I'm closing in on 400 Carb shafts, and I'm not sure whether to pull the trigger on Quicksilver or keep saving up for Venom. My plan was to hold out for Venom, as I run a Bruiser deck. However, I'm not sure he represents that much of an upgrade to my deck, especially as it will take me MONTHS to save up enough to get not just 1, but 2 base cards at 600 shafts each.

Anyway, what I'm looking for here is a discussion on the UR base cards available from the converter. Disregarding alignment, is there a significant difference between them? Specifically, is Venom really worth 1.5X as much as either of the other options?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
